OUR PHLISOPHY |
We have found that the most effective approaches to have patience, be understanding of the consumer’s thoughts and feelings, and to take a proactive non-confrontational approach. We utilize individualized teaching and behavior identifying techniques to help consumers manage their behaviors. There will be 24 hour supervision with a staff to consumer ratio of no less than 2:4. There is also an awake staff to monitor the consumers on the overnights to ensure safety and security. |

OUR PROGRAM |
We emphasize a healthy combination of good physical care and emotional well-being in quiet, comfortable atmospheres. All our homes offer Gorgeous, spacious rooms that make up the interior of the house with freedom for residents to personalize their own living space to their individual interests and hobbies. |
The program is tailored to suit individual needs. We offer continuing education to help individuals achieve their full educational potential. If they are academically able, they may wish to obtain the high school diploma, G.E.D. or further their education at an instruction of higher learning. We utilize local High Schools, Community and Technical Colleges, as well as alternative education options.
|
The program helps teach daily living skills, self esteem and social skills. We will provide the routine and structure needed to help our consumers succeed in their daily lives. We will also offer creative leisure and recreation activities to help generate an interest and fascination in new hobbies or existing ones. All consumers have a membership to the local YMCA and are encouraged to participate in our health and recreation program. We also utilize local resources within the community to provide quality leisure recreation. |
